How will they do this? By offering dangerous RU-486 chemical abortions at all of their locations, with a Des Moines-based abortionist consulting by web cam.</div><div><br /></div><div>More Profitable for Planned Parenthood, More Dangerous for Women</div><div><br /></div><div>It get worse, Planned Parenthood does not follow FDA Protocol for RU-486. Planned Parenthood gives women a cheaper combination of the pills in an RU-486 abortion, against the recommendations for the Food and Drug Administration*, which makes these abortions more profitable for the abortion group and more dangerous for women.</div><div><br /></div><div>Planned Parenthood also cuts back the number of appointments that the FDA recommends for an RU-486 abortion from three to two, which also increases Planned Parenthood's profits by reducing office and staffing expenses.</div><div><br /></div><div>The FDA says that RU-486 abortions should not be performed on women more than 49 days into a women's pregnancy. But Planned Parenthood offers RU-486 up to 63 days after the first day of a women's last period. This way, Planned Parenthood expands their profitable RU-486 abortions, at the expense of women's safety.</div><div><br /></div><div>Women Facing Their Abortion Alone</div><div><br /></div><div>RU-486 abortions are less messy for Planned Parenthood and more traumatizing for women, because the women are forced to deal with the blood and the dead baby at home- <i>alone</i>. RU-486 abortions take longer and are bloodier than a surgical abortion. </div><div><br /></div><div>Rachael"s testimony: A true story of what women go through.</div><div><br /></div><div>Rachel took the first of two drugs at Planned Parenthood that day and "felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I could literally feel it. It was the first time I understood what that phrase meant."</div><div><br /></div><div>But no moment since has been quite so weightless. What happened to Rachel afterwards was nothing short of a horrific nightmare. </div><div><br /></div><div>When she woke up and went to the bathroom the morning after taking the second part of the dangerous abortion drugs, she felt crampy and achy. She looked down and saw the unborn baby.</div><div><br /></div><div>She looked at the baby for a long time because the bay was bigger than she expected. She stared for what seemed like an hour--frozen, tired.</div><div><br /></div><div>"It seemed rude to flush it, " she thought to herself. "I should be having a burial or something." But then she heard her daughter awaken and thought, "Well, you have to get on with your day."</div><div><br /></div><div>Iowa women like Rachel are at risk emotionally and physically. The FDA should recall this drug and Iowa should have "Informed Consent" and reporting of abortion complications!</div><div><br /></div><div><i>We cannot fight this battle without your help. Iowa Right to Life is working to protect life.</i></div><div><i><br /></i></div><div>Planned Parent hood will be targeting your daughters, your sisters, your neighbors and your friends.<i> Please help <a href="http://iowartl.org/">Iowa Right to Life</a> stop them. Your donations will help us warn women and families of the dangers of Planned Parenthood's latest scheme. </i></div><div><i><br /></i></div><div><i>Please help us by sending what you can. Your gift is a tax deductible educational donation.</i></div><div><i><br /></i></div><div><i>Sincerely yours,</i></div><div><i><br /></i></div><div><i>Kim Lehman</i></div><div><i>President.</i></div>Pregnancy Center of SouthWest Iowahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18339192373765869589noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6416686442114667542.post-30701421601920929432009-09-14T05:04:00.001-07:002009-09-14T05:26:20.420-07:00Iowa Right to Life<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4-NsffQZeskLuEnXKkUdgcfFgoS9r9kfhv15fUY1jrVa0ZjDmaqYNjA-82AwfMLCNsVxbtR_EQgEG3XneVwWxbOIOK__N4Y2ImnqWvI_tmY7yB77fXIymlBDFh7CiLJA_UmNo60n5Xp7x/s1600-h/100_1476.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4-NsffQZeskLuEnXKkUdgcfFgoS9r9kfhv15fUY1jrVa0ZjDmaqYNjA-82AwfMLCNsVxbtR_EQgEG3XneVwWxbOIOK__N4Y2ImnqWvI_tmY7yB77fXIymlBDFh7CiLJA_UmNo60n5Xp7x/s320/100_1476.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381295329674633618" /></a><br />Saturday Cara, Melanie and I took a van load of books to the Iowa Right To Life book drop in Des <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Monies</span>. I heard lots of laughter and I even had several women remind me that they do not need that kind of service anymore. </p><p> </p><p>I have heard this so many times in the years that I have volunteered here. I would like to say this. When I look at women, any women at any age, I do not wonder if you can have a baby, or if you are planning a family etc. What I see is someone with a heart to nurture. We are created by God to be the nurtiers of our homes and to other women(Titus 2). We are women and therefore, we are called by God to help these women be better moms and wives, if they choose to be a mom or wife. To help them make a decision based on God's word concerning their state.</p><p><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyDvU7n7Zj5S8M6bh3gYB9-Ne5DfGM-Y5-wkjws140Z5ycr-n-jWTJtJm5JqZNW36o3Q3G2y9T22UXZn8wqeYSWDB67LjVu6uBTe_tFqdqDPj5oB38o6GdebErq_BAjdS27YJZErmdZRlY/s1600-h/000_0461.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352472583477749842" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyDvU7n7Zj5S8M6bh3gYB9-Ne5DfGM-Y5-wkjws140Z5ycr-n-jWTJtJm5JqZNW36o3Q3G2y9T22UXZn8wqeYSWDB67LjVu6uBTe_tFqdqDPj5oB38o6GdebErq_BAjdS27YJZErmdZRlY/s320/000_0461.jpg" border="0" /></a> We are all God's children and we need to take care of each other. If you do not feel that you can physically help at the center, please pray, donate or have a baby shower. Yes, your right, you do not need to have a baby to volunteer at the center. All you need is prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit. <br /></p><p>I will be honest, I pray always for God to send people to stand firm for that little baby, but most of all, I want to stand firm for the mother and father's faith. They need us, they need to see strong christian women and men who can love on them and take them right to God. We are God's Army, we need to be there as abassaders for Him and especially for the parents. <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggBzscQ8RiSNDkK7pdkyNWiO1kOoGh2eYqjv5LWS6t1t59ia8OCaUAn17ink5eWuLW1SqWIvwlalmfv-AeGkKlhiL-JTfEaPICudIY_9qkp6oklpS2Ps9lD1_SyrxyIMUOwg5zM_3zaxAG/s1600-h/000_0459.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352472288346430850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggBzscQ8RiSNDkK7pdkyNWiO1kOoGh2eYqjv5LWS6t1t59ia8OCaUAn17ink5eWuLW1SqWIvwlalmfv-AeGkKlhiL-JTfEaPICudIY_9qkp6oklpS2Ps9lD1_SyrxyIMUOwg5zM_3zaxAG/s320/000_0459.jpg" border="0" /></a> No matter what, we are all able and I hope willing to do the Lords work. I <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">decided</span> that I was going to look into abortion. No, I did not want to see any pictures, but I did want to remind myself of why I came here. So, last week I spent time on line looking into abortion and the different techniques. Now, I have to tell you, I was reminded extremely quickly on why I felt lead to fight for the unborn. People, there is a battle field out there, we do not see the casualties, or the effects that it has on others, unless we look into it. It is dangerous and costly to all people, moms, dads, brothers and sisters, friends and extended family members.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXCZ94dPAcHXMJYZPlmkF4RurRd9yqAZabdR13GJPD41IGXBhPAsrXGz5fRlnWYhK9MC7sZRhNAuxqGthsN7rbB5PQ13sWxHG5LqLWjZamWBUPoKuApXH2ZaMj10irgG-J45fs2DADLm60/s1600-h/bn259110.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341761775106434770" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 113px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 170px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXCZ94dPAcHXMJYZPlmkF4RurRd9yqAZabdR13GJPD41IGXBhPAsrXGz5fRlnWYhK9MC7sZRhNAuxqGthsN7rbB5PQ13sWxHG5LqLWjZamWBUPoKuApXH2ZaMj10irgG-J45fs2DADLm60/s400/bn259110.jpg" border="0" /></a> And while on am on this subject, I would like to share a true story. The other night I was at the center. The phone rang and I answered it, "Pregnancy Center, Tanya speaking." This man asked me, "is this the Pregnancy center?" And I replied "yes." Then he replied, "My <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">fiance</span> and I have had scheduled an appointment to have an abortion the tomorrow." I explained, "that we were not Planned Parenthood, we were the Pregnancy Center of South West Iowa." I also replied, "that we did not do abortions, but I would be able to talk with them." And he replied "no." And with that he hung up. <br /><br />For the first time in my life, I knew about an <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">exacution</span> and there was no way I could stop it. I went into prayer with the other volunteer and we pleaded for that little life. <br /><br />Look, I am not here to judge, I am here to help. If you have been faced with this issue or you have had one, come down to the center and lets talk. I was to help you over come this. We do not have the right to put you down or make you feel bad. We are here to love and guide you to God.<br /><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBoZ41sP3yNHAP4yWmVKgZFvgrxnEy99JZodhekb9gfVmhszdGnw3ZNKEn35T3Z-19JdWh2KVOFQmrYV8oD0klUKhEf-gFppquRu7HOCfIMk7u_upOPCvMkxHK9dgaogdrZbEcCqVhvSLY/s1600-h/foetusDM_228x300.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341761606092523922" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 228px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBoZ41sP3yNHAP4yWmVKgZFvgrxnEy99JZodhekb9gfVmhszdGnw3ZNKEn35T3Z-19JdWh2KVOFQmrYV8oD0klUKhEf-gFppquRu7HOCfIMk7u_upOPCvMkxHK9dgaogdrZbEcCqVhvSLY/s400/foetusDM_228x300.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p> Life is a gift and we need to give it everyday. That is what I believe, God gives life and He would not want us to take it away. And this is why I am at the Center, I want to be a solider for the Lord and protect His children and help heal the parents of abortion.<br /><br /></p>Pregnancy Center of SouthWest Iowahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18339192373765869589noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6416686442114667542.post-90107457882457930412009-05-19T17:22:00.001-07:002009-05-19T17:43:42.624-07:00The New Beginning Program<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo38M2a1F9Q5T161vlNitsWgukaa2S_xZEcJ_w8WMbNpIp8cCQ_1yajeYREBzk1vIpKabhGXxU1RqDhagxCA79WRIKGtMhphltZnQOQgkSCVLUTwKAxmuPnYtsJjd2s1iYeqt1BPZf78AH/s1600-h/000_0380.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337695839590174834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo38M2a1F9Q5T161vlNitsWgukaa2S_xZEcJ_w8WMbNpIp8cCQ_1yajeYREBzk1vIpKabhGXxU1RqDhagxCA79WRIKGtMhphltZnQOQgkSCVLUTwKAxmuPnYtsJjd2s1iYeqt1BPZf78AH/s400/000_0380.jpg" border="0" /></a> At the center we have a program called "The New <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Beginnings</span> Program." She is well missed and she did an awesome job.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuu-V7r6Z3BJ0pkvbIfwtOgSbR8tpCdco5TN5LN_jWet9qFTosmNK6wHLPk5loL-RDc-bUeRKlALfPkaNlDSqhvS5AaWncgjuJqnn0LAgBhW_JZj8rD9uqdp6ROm_Y5GKSsKq1D9rfL9zw/s1600-h/pregcenter+luncheon+018.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335881084282753554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 267px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuu-V7r6Z3BJ0pkvbIfwtOgSbR8tpCdco5TN5LN_jWet9qFTosmNK6wHLPk5loL-RDc-bUeRKlALfPkaNlDSqhvS5AaWncgjuJqnn0LAgBhW_JZj8rD9uqdp6ROm_Y5GKSsKq1D9rfL9zw/s400/pregcenter+luncheon+018.JPG" border="0" /></a> And this is the plaque that we gave Janet. It is so precious, it represents what the center is all about. I just love the way that it sums up our direction. In other post, I hope to tell you some history of the center and introduce you to more of our volunteers. If you are in a situation with an unplanned pregnancy, please contact us or come in and lets talk. God bless you.<br /></p><div><br /></div>Pregnancy Center of SouthWest Iowahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18339192373765869589noreply@blogger.com1
